Here is an interesting comment. Did you know that Corby is the largest town in Europe not to have its own railway station.

Did you know that the George Hotel in Huddersfield, is where the sport of Rugby League was born? Harold wilson was the midwife apparently!

I didn't know that, that is interesting. I do know that the rules for association football were drawn up just down the road in Sheffield.

Did you know that Mr Ed (from the TV series) was not in fact a horse but was a zebra.

Something that I learnt today that is very interesting is that Claire Taylor ousted Viv Richards from the Lord's Hall of fame, for the highest 1 day individual score at the home of cricket, her knock of 156* in 2006, beat Viv Richards 138 which had held the honour since 1979.

I'm now totally disillusioned about Mr Ed! Pah and yes, I did know about football, Hallam FC is the oldest club in the country, just down the road from Ourouse. More to the point, Huddersfield is, as you say, Dave, the home of Rugby League.

    Keep them coming!

Did you know that when you tell Jaiku you are going to demonstrate it, it packs up at the time stated? Good luck!

Enoch, of Enoch's hammer fame - the Luddite frame smashing tool - is buried in Marsden, where last week's jazz festival was held

There are things you know, there are things you don't know, there are things you know you don't know, but watch out for the things you don't know you don't know.

Do you think we put Chris off altogether? Anyone 'seen' him this morning?

No you didn't, I showed the PCET students at Huddersfield and they were duly impressed, all a bit rushed though
